Welcome to HeroBlend #33! Eric and Adrienne have lots of cool superhero news to discuss this week, including going over the new Captain Marvel trailer and giving everyone some details from our set interview with Brie Larson. We also have a fun new segment, Who Would Win?, that you need to stick around for! First, though, we have tons of awesome news items to let you in on this week. We've found out that we could have heard a former big screen Peter Parker voice the role in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, one of Marvel's greatest martial artists is getting his own MCU approved movie, those rumors of Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3 finally getting a director might have been exaggerated, we got some more info on that crazy fun Birds of Prey title, and also know when the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer will drop.
Next, we'll do a breakdown of the second Captain Marvel trailer, which arrived just a few days ago. What are our initial reactions? Is it better than the first trailer, or not so much? What cool new reveals have been made? Are there things we were hoping to see that weren't included? We'll dive into all that and more! Then, Eric will give us a rundown of some of the cool info we got from Captain Marvel star Brie Larson during our set interview. How did training for all those action scenes work out for her? How does she feel about being the MCU's first female lead? What does she think her character brings to the cinematic universe? We'll go over all of that!
Last, but certainly not least, we have a new segment we're trying out for you called Who Would Win? This is where we pit two superheroes or villains against one another in a fictional battle and see whose powers / skills would come out on top.
