Smallville's Allison Mack Allowed To Run Errands While Waiting For Sex Trafficking Trial

Allison Mack Smallville

With seemingly every passing day, we learn more about Allison Mack's deep-rooted involvement in Nxivm, an alleged sex cult based in New York. It is believed to be a disturbing and shocking series of events, particularly with Mack's arrest from six months ago, and it's unclear what will become of Mack's fate as she awaits trial while currently under house arrest. But, as she awaits her verdict, the actress is apparently being given a few privileges in the midst of her forthcoming trial. As it is being reported, Allison Mack is allowed to run errands while she is in the middle of court trials.

Here's what we know about the latest news on Allison Mack, as it was reported by Fox News. The one-time Smallville actress and former Nxivm personality will be granted time to run errands throughout the week. Three hours a week, to be exact, which is more leeway than the other people currently arrested or in the middle of trials for their involvement in this reported sex cult. That includes Keith Raniere, the leader of Nxivm, who is serving time behind bars at the moment, as well as Clare Bronfman, who is only allowed to leave her apartment in Brooklyn three times a week.

The deal was struck by Allison Mack's lawyers. They claimed the former actress needed additional time in the week to "purchase groceries, supplies, and other necessities." The proposition was, ultimately, permitted by Nicholas Garaufis, a federal judge located in Brooklyn, NY. This is related to Mack's current living situation, since she's staying in Los Alamitos, CA, at her parent's house now. Her bond is currently placed at $5 million.

This living situation is only for now, however. The temporary arrangements will change once Allison Mack is eventually moved to Brooklyn, NY. As it is being reported, the ankle bracelet currently attached to her will likely be taken off in the midst of traveling. Right now, it's unclear what her living situation will be like once she makes her way back to Brooklyn. Additionally, it's also currently unclear what will become of Mack's legal situation.

As we have reported in the past, Allison Mack is currently under legal inspection due to her involvement with Nxivum, specifically an approach she imposed on women, alongside Keith Raniere, known as Dominus Obsequious Sororium, a.k.a. DOS. Reportedly, 150 or more women were lured into the sex cult through the influence of Raniere and Mack. The duo was arrested earlier in 2018 in connection to crimes related to sex trafficking. There were even reports claiming Allison Mack was allegedly involved in branding the women that came under the influence of Nxivum and Mack's work with Raniere.
