Another sexual assault allegation has rocked the cast of the Bravo reality series Southern Charm. This time the allegations surround a guest star on the show, John David "J.D." Madison. Madison has not been charged in relation to the allegations. The Mount Pleasant police are currently conducting an investigation into the reports. Here is what we know so far.

J.D. Madison is a South Carolina businessman, who has had a recurring role on Southern Charm. He has starred on the show as the friend of now-former cast member Thomas Ravenel, who we will get to later. A South Carolina woman, whose identity is being kept confidential, has filed a police report that lays out the allegations, per FitsNews.com which broke the story.

In the police report, the woman alleges that J.D. Madison, his friend, Jay M. Schwartz, and an unidentified female companion came to her home during an evening in late August 2017. During the group's time together, the woman alleges that J.D. Madison and his friend intentionally distracted both women in order to drug their drinks.

After consuming the drinks, the woman accusing J.D. Madison says that she fell in and out of consciousness. In this state, the woman alleges that he raped and assaulted her. Madison's friend Jay Schwartz was arrested on drug possession charges on the same night as the alleged assault took place.

The female occupant in the vehicle at the time of Jay Schwartz's arrest was taken to a local hospital. The accuser identified that woman as being the same one who came to her home with J.D. Madison and Schwartz. If you are wondering why you are only hearing about this now, there is a reason. The police report was filed in early August 2018, nearly a year after the alleged events occurred.

The allegations against J.D. Madison come after his friend from the show and former co-star had also been accused of sexual assault. Thomas Ravenel was the first star of Southern Charm to be confronted with allegations of sexual misconduct. He subsequently exited the series ahead of Season 6 following the accusations, which Bravo was investigating. Those allegations stemmed from accusations that were posted online by the daughter of Debbie Holloway Perkins.

Her daughter, Ashley Perkins, has alleged that her mother was sexually assaulted by Thomas Ravenel in October 2015, after the two had met through the dating app Tinder. Later, Ravenel issued a statement prepared by his attorney, which was read by Andy Cohen during Southern Charm's Season 5 reunion. It stated that he anticipated being vindicated following the investigation, per E!.

Bravo has not commented on the latest allegations against J.D. Madison, per Deadline. With another season of Southern Charm, underway, time will tell if the claims are mentioned on-screen by the cast.
