October is the month where, even if the weather doesn't turn cool as quickly as one would hope, there's still a chill in the air. At least, Hulu seems to get that concept, as there's more than enough content to raise some scare-induced goosebumps, as well as a lot of good TV set to come back to the streaming giant's line-up. September was only the beginning of your indoor entertainment fix, with all of the major networks premiering some new series to mix it up with your old favorites, and Hulu subscribers reap the rewards. On the TV side of the house, The Simpsons is back to continue making history, with its 30th season set to premiere in October. But don't forget about relatively newer shows such as ABC's Station 19 and NBC's Superstore, which are returning for their second and fourth seasons, respectively. ABC fans will also want to get some answers to some pretty harrowing finales in the next month, as The Conners premieres in its new post-Roseanne form without its leading lady, and Black-ish's big final arc from season 4 should have some serious fallout. Last, but not least, Hulu wants to take a stab at making it Halloween all year round, with its new series Into The Dark set to drop a new feature-length tale of horror every month, from now until next October.
Though the Movies side of the house does have some frightening stuff ahead for everyone to enjoy down the path to Halloween 2K18. Not only are both previous Blair Witch Project films coming into the fold, but the first Child's Play, and all four REC films are on the docket as well. If you have an axe to grind, you can join Patrick Bateman in his impish killing spree, as American Psycho will be on hand to distribute business cards and a couple of scars. Don't fret if you're looking for something for the family to enjoy, as The Nightmare Before Christmas is going to also be available, for child and parent alike to enjoy!
