The Big Bang Theory is about to end with what is likely a big bang of its own. With the reality of the end sinking in, members of the cast undoubtedly have some things they would like to cross off the to-do list before the show goes off the air. So, how does original cast member Kaley Cuoco want the show to end? Well, there is one thing, in particular, she wants to see resolved. Cuoco revealed the thing at the top of her list, saying:

I would like the elevator to get fixed. The stairs have gotten more and more exhausting as our seasons have gone on. We're all a little bit older; (it's) a little more difficult getting up those steps.

Given that so much has been enhanced in the character's personal lives, it makes sense for the elevator being repaired to be the final step they take on their journey. Kaley Cuoco's shared her likely fan-approved aspiration on The Late Late Show with James Corden and Corden seemed to have high hopes that Cuoco's ending wish would come true. So, here is hoping it does.

Fans of the show probably have a million ideas as to how they want The Big Bang Theory to sign off. That being said, can you imagine a more fitting ending scene than the show's main cast members coming together as the elevator gets repaired? Sheldon, Leonard, Penny, and Amy could then step inside to give it a test ride. It goes well at first, only to have it seemingly break down again -- long pause. Then it starts working, and Sheldon says "Bazinga!" -- cut to black.

Given that there are no plans for the ending in place quite yet, anything could happen at this point. Since the elevator has been such a prominent plot point, it makes sense that The Big Bang Theory would want to come full circle with a scene that pays its respects to that. As for the process of deciding to let the show come to an end, Kaley Cuoco opened up saying that it was "definitely tough."

The actress went on to give fans of the series a behind-the-curtain peek at the emotional scene that played out when the news was announced. She went on to echo her social media message saying that it would not have mattered when the decision was made because the emotions would have been the same. Before fans shed their own tears bidding farewell to the beloved sitcom, they have quite a few more laughs to enjoy first.
